Salón los Angeles

Salsa dancing room, which opened 80 years ago, has fended off threats from developers and new dance and music trends for decades. Most people are senior and they were very dressed up.
As a popular local saying goes, you don’t know Mexico City till you’ve been to Salón Los Ángeles.

Azul Historico

Situated in the same historic mansion as the DOWNTOWN BEDS, a beautiful place with the twisted of traditional and fusion Mexican food. One dinner there is a must!
Casa de los Azulejos

"Casa de Los Azulejos" is a historical site just infront of our hostel DOWNTOWN BEDS. It is a good place for breakfast. The building has a beautifully decorated facade of blue and white "azulejo" tile from the state of Puebla and for more than a century has been the home of the traditional Sanborns national chain, which started out as a soda fountain store in the early 20th century and evolved into the empire it is today housing newsstands/ books, department store, pharmacy and restaurants.

Arena Naucalpan

If you want a smaller, and arguably less commercial, lucha libre experience then this is the destination for you. With a capacity of just 2,400 spectators, it’s certainly much more intimate and has been hosting regular luchas since the early 1960s. Currently, you can catch a wrestling match here on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Arena Naucalpan, Calle Jardín 19, Naucalpan Centro, Naucalpan de Juárez, Ciudad de México, México, +52 55 5576 0820
Café de Tacuba

Inside Café de Tacuba, little has changed since it opened its doors in 1912. Housed in a former convent, the restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Mexico City. In fact, the street on which the restaurant is located—Calle de Tacuba—is said to be the city's first road.
